Vom Fields Haus

We are proud to announce our "N" litter Fields Haus

Redwood Krest’s Xamos
Kora Vom Fields Haus

Redwood Krest’s Xamos is a looker with nice over all temperament. He has some impressive show wins behind him, including multiple V-1 ratings. He was the 2006 West Coast Landesgruppe Youth Sieger, the 2006 Alberta Youth Sieger. He was the 2006 ARV National Best Male Puppy, and the 2006 USRC SW Regional best male puppy. . He has also become UCI International Champion and is ARV Championship pointed.

Xamos earned his BH title on February 17, 2008 under USA judge Craig Groh. Xamos' pedigree includes such world famous dogs as Rick von Burgthann (grandfather), German Champion Gesa von der Scherau (grandmother and mother of Muck, Merlin, Morro and Janosch), and Vico von der Flugschneise (grandfather).

We really like this dogs type, and as you can see above he is a very correct dog in type. The thing that drew us to this outstanding Rottweiler was his sound temperament. This is a nice dog and we are excited to have the opportunity to have a litter out of him. This is a nice dog and we are excited to have the opportunity to have a litter out of him.

Kora Vom Fields Haus is a medium sized female and defines the type of female Rottweiler we want to produce. She is on the smaller side (we want to produce a smaller athletic working dog) with excellent nerves, good drive and trainability. Kora is a certified service dog for facility work and has her canine good citizen (CGC). Kora goes to school with her handler Michelle and is certified to work in that modality. We’re proud of Kora and we really like her temperament. Kora is structurally sound with OFA (orthopedic foundation for animals) “Good” hips and “Normal” elbows. At the current time Kora is in training for invasive bug detection work and is doing a good job.

Our litter expectations are outstanding temperament both for working homes or family pets mixed with good conformation and health. We are expecting medium sized social dogs with good bone substance, and good Rottweiler heads. There should be good drive and trainability. For health reasons this breeding is an out cross (no common ancestors).

The “N” Litter was born on 6-7-14 and was a litter of 2 males and 3 females. We went through the normal (for us) litter routine. It was weigh ins, color collars, Supper puppy program and lots of environmental enrichment. We again teamed up with our good friend and helper Michelle Roach. Michelle supplied the female “Kora Vom Fields Haus” from our K litter. We supplied the experience. We would split the expenses and work and therefore together we would produce a litter of puppies. Our goal is to produce better dogs, and dogs that we intend to keep around our training circle. We primarily breed for ourselves. The good news is Amy has kept “Red Female” as her personal dog. The rest of the litter sold very fast and are all in their new homes. Due to time constraints we did not spend a bunch of time updating the website to show the pups development and progress. We tend to get busy around here and well time to post stuff is limited at best. Unfortunately our website and Face Book page is a reflection of our life style. There are those who do it, and those who have time to write about it. Ok, enough of that, on to the good stuff.

It was nice that all of the puppies were healthy and as usual Kora was an outstanding mother.

It would not be long and the pups would grow fast. As the puppies aged the environmental experiences would become greater. We feel it is important to give our puppies every chance we can to help them succeed in the world of man. So it was socialize, socialize, socialize!
It was lots of dog on dog time, and below was their first swimming lesson!

It was a lot of work for momma, but she’s a good mom so I don’t think she cared!

So it’s more feeding, more socializing and lots of just being puppies!
At the end of the day it makes for tired pups and one tired mom!
As I said above the “N” litter have all moved on to their new homes, families and or careers. It was a great experience and we wish them lots of luck in Monkey land!
