Board N' Train
(Puppies 16 wks. to Adult)
Similar to a Boarding School, Board N’ Train is a program where your dog stays with us, and we do all of the foundation and hard work.
- Great for busy lifestyles with no time to train the foundation.
- We do all the work, and you just need to maintain it.
- During training your dog also gets an extensive amount of socializing with dogs in our daycare program, learning about proper interaction and manners.
Our Board N’ Train program has continuously developed for over 35 years. Our program is immersive and your dog experiences a 24/7 learning and training program customized to their specific needs.
Each Board N’ Train dog participates in the Daycare Program, our Boarding Program, as well as 1-3 hours of scheduled training time to focus on specific goals provided by the owner.
At pick up for each Board N’ Train guest there is a scheduled training session with a trainer to go over what was covered and how to maintain and improve the training once they come home. We also provide phone and text support for any questions once they are home, to make sure the transition is successful.
We highly encourage all owners to continue their education and follow up with group classes or private lessons. One of our highest priorities is for each owner and dog team to succeed in reaching their goals!

Training Program Descriptions
Custom Training:
Each of our K9 Guests has a custom program to fit their specific needs, based on individual personality, problems, and the owner’s goals.
Advancing Programs:
In all of our Programs, we start with your goals in mind, we take the training as far as we can in the time that we are provided. We work at the speed that best fits your dog and their learning style.
Each dog learns and advances at a different speed. In most cases, the 2-week program will help set the basic foundation most pet owners are looking for. For our more advanced challenges like advanced obedience, off-leash, aggression, and anxiety issues, the 4 or 6-week program may be more appropriate.
Sport and Working Dogs:
For our Sport and Working Dogs, our Board N Train program is set up to establish a foundation for you to build on, maintain your training while you are away, or address specific issues to help your training advance at a faster pace. Please talk to your specific trainer about what program they recommend.
Obedience
Such as: Sit, down, come, heel, stay, wait, place. We work toward one command response, extended duration in place, or down-stay specifically (1-3 hrs). As the training advances, we introduce distractions of all levels including but not limited to: dogs playing, kids playing, noises, etc…
Manners
Due to our 24/7 supervision, we consistently maintain good manners: Such as no jumping, digging, counter surfing, etc.
Environment
Our environment is designed with your dog’s comfort, safety, and learning as our top priorities. We are strong believers in quality over quantity.
Evaluation $125 (1 Hr.)
Required for new dogs that we have never met before.
A 1 hour evaluation to assess your dogs temperament, manners and social skills to help us recommend and plan the best Board N’ Train program to reach your training goals.
2 Week Foundation
Foundation Started
Start your puppy/dog off with a good start in understanding:
Basic Obedience (Come, Heel, sit, down, stay, place, quiet, kennel, wait and move)
Full daycare day with group activities including but not limited to tug, food games, ball, chase, etc.
Nap time in their own private space with a chew source and trainer supervision.
Throughout the day training time to maintain basic training, good manners, and social skills. Example: wait at thresholds, sit for leash on, come when called, have fun while maintaining good manners.
Most suitable for setting a beginning foundation.
3 Week Novice
Strong Foundation Started
With an additional week we can create a stronger foundation.
Basic Obedience
WITH DISTRACTIONS

Crate and Potty Training
Full daycare day with group activities including but not limited to tug, food games, ball, chase, etc.
Nap time in their own private space with a chew source and trainer supervision.
Throughout the day training time to maintain basic training, good manners, and social skills. Example: wait at thresholds, sit for leash on, come when called, have fun while maintaining good manners.
Most suitable for setting a strong foundation.
4 Week Advanced Obedience
Advanced Obedience with Off-leash Intro
This program is for the owners wanting a dog capable of advanced training skills, in most cases creating a strong on-leash program in public, and off-leash at home.
Most suitable for owners wanting advanced dog skills, or have aggressive or anxious dogs.
5 Week Novice Off-Leash
Advanced Obedience with Off-leash Progression
This program is for the owners wanting a dog capable of advanced training skills, in most cases at the off-leash training level in most environments.
Most suitable for owners wanting off-leash dog training, or have aggressive or anxious dogs.
6 Week Advanced Off-Leash
Advanced Off-Leash Obedience
Our 6 week Board N’ Train program will focus on off-leash obedience with advanced distractions, manners, and social skills. We’ll get your dog in a place where you can further build on or simply maintain your ideal “Canine Companion!”
Most suitable for off-leash hikers, or have aggressive or anxious dogs.
Add-Ons:
Add On One-on One Training Lesson
Add-on to a Boarding or Daycare Day.
While your puppy/dog is staying with us for Boarding, add a one-on-one private training lesson with your dog customized to work on your specific goals. Let us know what you want the lesson to focus on, and we do the work while they stay with us.
Please Note: This is not recommended for new dogs that are still learning our boarding/daycare program.
1 Week Refresher
NOT FOR NEW DOGS
For our K9 guests that have learned our boarding and daycare program, that you are wanting to touch up on some training goals, build new behaviors or just teach some fun new tricks.
